About Us

For more than thirty years, Team Snowy has introduced youth from Southern Wyoming and Northern Colorado to the joy, challenge, and lifelong rewards of alpine skiing and snowboarding. Based at Snowy Range Ski Area in Centennial, Wyoming, the club welcomes athletes ages 5–18, offering weekend coaching, competition opportunities, and a strong foundation in technical skill, sportsmanship, and a love for the mountains.

While Team Snowy remains one of the most affordable youth ski and snowboard programs in the country, skiing and riding are inherently expensive sports. Equipment, race entry fees, travel, and coaching can quickly become barriers for many families—especially as athletes advance in skill and competition level.

That’s where the Snowy Range Foundation comes in. The Foundation exists to bridge the gap between passion and opportunity by providing need-based scholarships that help offset tuition and equipment costs. These scholarships ensure that every child with the drive to ski or snowboard competitively has the opportunity to do so, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Support from our sponsors and donors directly empowers young athletes to pursue their goals, build lifelong friendships, and learn essential values like teamwork, discipline, and resilience. From our youngest skiers just learning to carve their first turns, to our older athletes competing across the region, every donation helps keep the slopes accessible to all.

Each winter, Team Snowy’s dedicated coaches and volunteers foster growth, confidence, and community through training and racing—hosting five to six races annually at Snowy Range Ski Area. Together, we are not only building better athletes, but stronger individuals and a more inclusive mountain community.
